Guster Fans Thread

I actually just got an email from their website saying they just finished recording their next CD and are going on tour tomorrow.. It said some other good stuff.. They recorded as a 4 piece band with Joe I'm guessing, and went in with "their best batch of songs" or something along those lines. I wish I kept the email.

You mentioned the one on Friday (which I think is in Winona, could be wrong), but if you're thinking about going to the one at CSB/SJU during the day Saturday, yeah, you need to have a student buy a guest pass for you. It's basically a student only show.

So yeah, seeing them for the fourth time Saturday. I'm excited!!

i havent heard anything about the saturday show. i just plan on going to the friday show. i will be ok to get in then wont i?

does anyone have any information or pictures of the mccown fieldhouse of wsu in winona minnesota where guster is playing on friday april 22? is it inside or outside, how is security, sound, size, and number of people allowed in?

I'd assume so, I'm pretty sure that my school's the only one that doesn't let the public buy tickets. Do they have an opener? We're getting the Big Wu before them.

the show bill didnt state if there was going to be an opener. ticketbastard has tickets for this show and has better than ezra playing with them a few times. big wu opening would be cool to see, but it doesnt look like there is an opener.

Don't know, might grab some dinner downtown beforehand and head over after that. I will probably make it there somewhat early though to see if I can get a seat upstairs.

My friend and I are getting their REALLY early (maybe 1-2ish). We have heard that bands like to come out and greet fans really early, so we hope to meet them. We will then proceed to get front row, dead center. We're going to hang out after the show too, again, to try and meet them.

I have to coach, so I can't get there that early, but if you meet them you should post here because they seem like really cool guys.

so i got to hang out with the band before the show at Purdue for a few hours bc the violinist in my DMB cover band played with them...ill post my autographed (with weird drawings by joe, adam, and ryan) setlist and some pics tomorrow

that opening rift gave me goosebumps...it was just such a perfect opener...then when the band came out they opened wtih OSW, which fit in perfectly with the mood

The Portland live CD is in my car right now. Listened to it on the drive this morning. What a great album. What a great band. My wife and I love them. Demons is my personal fave.
