I say we tailgate at Shillelagh!!! That would be best, we'll just have to find out about their bus, if they can give everyone a ride.

Yeah!!! We are going to Toronto, I don't care what you say

I am also up for Mexicantown beforehand, some margaritas, some chips and salsa...mmm!!! I'm so glad it's on a Saturday too, more drinking!!

Anyone who wants to meet up at Old Shillelagh, let Jen or myself know. I think that would be a great place to go pre-concert. It's a really old historis Irish pub on the outskirts of Greektown.

You guys should definitely come to the T Dot. It'll be a blast, and it's only like 3.5 hrs from Detroit... And everything is cheaper up here! Ther's a ton of places to party, and they are all within like, 5 minutes walk of the ACC!

    I say DO IT!

I've been to Toronto a million times, my dad used to take his class there every year for a field trip, and my two friends lived there for a while. Also, we used to go to the Government (back in the day). I love the city. I can't believe they closed my favorite restaurant though!! One place I always went to eat when I was there: Organ Grinder. So much fun.

We're going. That's all there is to it!

Really thats weird I am sure that the Red Wings have it trademarked right? The last time Toronto won anything was in 1960's? So lets call Detroit "Hockeytown" like everyone else

Sadly this is true...Detroit may "call" itself Hockeytown, they may have it on every gaudy t-shirt they sell at the Joe, but alas, Toronto is THE Hockeytown.

Why do people have a fit over some stupid name the wings decided to trademark? Some town in Minnesota a few years ago tried to raise a big nothing about how they called themselves hockeytown first. I mean seriously who cares? Toronto isn't hockeytown, its the frickin hockey captial of the world. Do people living there really need a name to let themselves know that? If I lived there I wouldn't need some name to tell me that hockey is the center of pretty much everything there. I wish I did live there. Except sorry I couldn't be a Leaf fan now from living here my whole life. I won't forget 93 dang it.

detroit will always be MY favorite hockey town!

and not a worry about before. the entire weekend was screwy for me as well. i never get to meet up with everyone i originally plan to because it's just too crazy!

if everyone decides to go, we'll drive up sat morn and party some before the show. not sure if we'll stay in detroit that night or drive part way home and get a place. my buddy may end up coming from the dc area and i think he wants to go home on sunday and his car will be at my place.

so does everyone think that the band will continue with like 7-9 Stand Up songs in the winter or do you think it will be reduced? I like the songs a lot but I would rather hear 5-6, one cause I have heard all but AB Intro and EWU and two cause I would like to get a good mix of songs old and new.

My guess is that the average number of Stand Up songs will be a little lower than during the summer tour

I think that they will either do a good mix of old songs, and some new... or they might start to preview any new songs that they have been working on over the course of the summer...

dont worry bout it, whatever happens, happens.

unless you wanna actually worry about it and set yourself up for being dissapointed at the show. i personally dont see the point in discussing and posting your hopes up on here. just go and have fun

dont worry bout it, whatever happens, happens.

unless you wanna actually worry about it and set yourself up for being dissapointed at the show. i personally dont see the point in discussing and posting your hopes up on here. just go and have fun
I don't care at all what they play really. I was just wondering what everyone thought or if anyone had been to a winter tour show following an album promoting summer tour. I never go into a show expecting anything. Obviously there are song I want to hear but if I don't hear them I don't care. I honestly like all of DMB's songs except I Did It so its easy not to be dissapointed when you like everything. Every show I have been to has been great in my mind. I could name off at least one highlight for me from every show.

Just wondering, but anyone from MSU or the area going?

I really need transportation to the show. So hey, if you want to say, carpool or something, that would be awesome .
