There was this one burrito place I went to in Atl before the DMB show last year called Billy's or something like that, that was maybe the best burrito I've ever had.

And I have tried both Chipotle and Freebirds, and they are exactly the same except that you can get a variety of tortillas at Freebirds. I would love to be able to get a Chipotle burrito on a wheat or spinach tortilla instead of a flour one. the only reason i go to chipotle is cause they are across the street from the gym :

If you go to chipotle today and get a burrito you can fill out a "Burrito ez-form" and come back any day after the 15th and get a free burrito. Pretty good deal if you ask me, especially if you are like me and eat there every Monday and Thursday!

Are you sure? I looked it up on Yahoo, and it sounds like you had to go there before today and can only get the free burrito today with a receipt. I'm not sure on that though.

I believe there is also a difference in rice and bean choices. Chipotle has white rice instead of a spanish/mexican style rice like Freebirds. Also, doesn't Chipotle have less choices in beans?

You've got to have refried as a choice on a burrito.

Ouch! I used to have a spreadsheet that I made with nutrition info there. It's staggering. It's not too bad though if you get the burrito bol without the sour cream or cheese. I take that home and put it on my own locally-made fresh corn tortillas, and it's way better.

chipotle sold off about15% of it's shares to mcdonalds to raise cash for expansion.

the reason i love chipotle is because there AREN'T too many options. they picks certian foods and do them well. very well. If a type of food can't be perfect in every burrito, they don't carry that food. that way, you get a consistantly high-quality burrito EVERY TIME you walk into the store.

Forgive me for being closed minded Marcelo but I would have thought would have been brought up on that stuff. Although I do have a friend of Mexican descent that can’t stand any kind of hot food.

I agree Marc, hot food is great and everyone in my family eats a lot of it. I consider myself a chilehead. But there is food that I call stupid hot that just seems to be a macho thing to eat it

Chipotle is not good. There are much cheaper, better tasting, and even bigger burrito joints. Especially in the Chicagoland area. El Famous Burrito and El Burrito Loco put Chipotle to shame. Footballl sized burritos for 4 dollars, can't beat that.

The greatest day ever was a Saturday back in May. There was a new Chipotle scheduled to open at 16th & Camelback on the following Monday, but they threw open the doors on Saturday from 11-1 and 4-6 and were making free burritos. Any one person could get one burrito, chips and salsa, and a drink (no alcohol since the permit wasn't in effect yet).

By happenstance we were there around lunch time and you better believe I drove all the way back for dinner. My stomach hurts (in a happy way) just thinking about it.
