shot a few times when i was a kid. dad is a marine and would take us out after halloween and we would shoot pumpkins. good times.

so i voted #3 but its been at least 15 years since I've fired one and I have no interest or desire to use or own one. Not much need for it in central KY unless you're hunting, which i don't (obviously)

I don't own a gun or have a license, but my buddy owns a large farm in the middle of nowhere and we shoot guns up there every now and then. Handguns, rifles, shotguns, and one big bastard that we use to cut down small trees.

Yes. Don't own, and don't plan to own a firearm at any point. However my dad hunted a lot when I was kid so he owns many rifles and shotguns and also owns several handguns, he took my brother and I to the shooting range several times and also out skeet and trap shooting. He belongs to a sportsmen's club now where he goes shooting quite a bit and I'll sometimes go with him when I go down south to visit them.

I don't have a need for an AR, but that is a pretty awesome deal.

Re: Spinoff: Have you ever shot a firearm?

I have. Just got my first deer this past weekend. A nice, big healthy doe. I haven't been shooting for very long. I've done trap a handful of times with my 12 gauge, and I have a .270 (which is what I got my deer with). I've shot 9mm, and .45 glocks, and a .58 muzzleloader. I may take my 12g with slugs this week for more deer.

Guns are for pussies: not the ones needing for protection but the ones using for aggression.

Cannot wait to try it, rounds are a pain to find and they are expensive because only a few manufacturers produce the kursk round.

Basically all I have done with it for 2 days is strip and clean it.

Nah, I only plan on using it here and there. For defense I prefer a SIG P226 and for rifles (M4 type) I prefer something that uses a more common round. This is almost a collectors item I can use on occasion. It is also worth a small fortune due to the limited manufacturing of them - I do not want to even risk ruining it. It was made by the Germans in 1944 but in small quantities. Still want to try it out though at some point.

While mine is also in mint condition I must confess I pulled the image from google rather than open my safe, insert a magazine, take a photo and post it!
