I think my husband and I might travel from North Dakota for this show. We have always gone to Alpine but since it's not happening this year (and Chicago just doesn't sound too much fun) we thought we would go "out of the box" and head to Oregon! Hope to see all you fine people there!

One item that I want to share is that Les Schwab has a noise restriction at 10pm. In years past there has not been an exception to this rule during the week but perhaps DMB may be pushing for a waiver.

While Bend is a great place to visit, especially if you like micro beer and outdoor activities, thought you might want to consider this as well.

On the plus side, we don't have anywhere near the mosquitoes of North Dakota.

We are all about outdoor activities. We are actually looking at this trip as more of a hiking vacation that happens to have a DMB show during the time we will be there.

I have never been to Oregon and from what I hear Bend is a pretty fun town. I called my brother who lives in Seattle and had asked him if he had been to Bend...his response was "yeah it's awesome".

I'm looking forward to it!

PS: Minnesota is the mosquito capital of the world

Just for the record, it looks like you are from Salt Lake?!? My husband and I are headed there and to Moab for a week long hiking trip in May. Can't wait!

Moab is awesome! SL,UT not so much. Have you been down to Zion at all? The hiking there is amazing too.

We plan to be in SLC for about two days. My cousin and his girlfriend recently moved there. We'll then head down to Moab for a few days to hike Arches and Canyonlands. I think after that we're going to scoot over to Colorado to do some hiking before we head home to Nodak.

We thought about heading to Zion and Bryce Canyon during this trip but decided we're going to have to take another trip to cover those two parks. I'm always looking for good excuses for a vacation!

Yes to do it right you need a good amount of time. If you're the adventurous sort you might think about late Spring in Zion. Depending on the water level you can hike up the Narrows and float back down.

A 10pm noise restriction? Yikes! I wonder if they'll go on earlier or have a shorter set. Interesting.

This has been a concern for many of the local residents. I'm hoping that the "priority show" function works. Member since Dec of 1999.

I think at this point it's only going to be Bend. My first DMB show as at the Gorge in 2007 and we did Gorge in 2012 as well. As I said before, we're making more of an Oregon vacation which just happens to have a show at the same time we'll be there.

At this point in our lives we have decided that we need to take a little "break" from the scene. We've been going to Alpine for quite a few years and we've just gotten tired of the one-uping some of the fans seem to be doing. We thought that if we went to a totally new venue, without our usual group of friends, we might be able to get back to the real reason why we started seeing shows to begin with...the music

Yes it is. don't know if this is true but I heard Stateline was one of only 4 sellouts last year. We had a great time there. We were hoping to go back but going to a place we have not been to before can be even more fun.

Agreed this will sellout, StubHub already has tickets at $155.

My prediction is a number of tickets on being sold on craigslist and forums in the last two weeks as folks that were planning to drive in just for the show realize that a 6 hour roundtrip for Tuesday concert is not ideal.

Curious, why did you make this a priority show over a Berkeley or Gorge?

Bend is a great place, but the Les Schwab Ampitheater pales in comparison to Berkeley or Gorge
