Anyone into archery?

I used to do it as a kid when I was in Boy Scouts, was thinking about setting up some targets in the back yard and seeing if I can do it and not suck too badly at it

In the south, it's a pretty big deal where I live. I haven't done it in years.

I plan on doing my first year of archery hunting this fall. I picked up a compound bow during a black friday sale. My relatives have considered hunting with recurves.

I always loved archery. My #2 daughter is taking it in the fall. I might join her.


Archery is my #2 way into the Olympics. Curling is still #1

Made it up to Webelos and stopped after that. I wish I would have continued.

My daughter does Girl Scouts and they're doing a class on archery to get parents who can teach it to the girls, that was my main reason in wanting to learn it.

I'd love to get into Archery but I have too many other expensive hobbies going on right now.
