Anyone else addicted to this show like I am?

Hate the people love the concept. It's gambling and treasure hunting all mixed up. Makes me want to try out the auction circuit. These guys arent spending huge money on it either. Seems like 1-10k per auction.

I asked my buddy (who's an auctioneer) about this show. He said this show has killed a lot of the people who do these storage auctions for a living.

I like this show but that Dave guy is a HUGE douche

The guy that collects and never sells anything pisses me off. Why do you even bother getting it appraised if you have zero intention of selling it?

haha, I have gotten sucked into this marathon they got going on right now. The combination of the characters and the "thrill" of what they might find is definitely the draw.

I don't like that they use random estimates for "profits" for buys. I'm assuming there's more than two months of post-production between shoot and air, enough time for them to get actual sale figures. They should make a spinoff where the same group gets together and holds group auctions.

I love the show but does anyone think that it might be staged? I think they might put stuff in certain storage lockers to insure their are some good finds for the show? Anyone know anyone who does this kinda thing? I think it would be a lot of fun.
