A Rush of Blood to the Head is one of my favorite albums. I like Coldplay but their newer stuff is just alright.

VLV is very good, their only bad album is x&y.

X&Y isn't bad, it just is not up to par with the rest of their catalog. There are some great songs on X&Y, Fix You, Kingdom Come...that's all that comes to mind.

but it really isn't bad at all, I enjoy listening to it occasionally.

Listened to Coldplay this week for the first time in a while. Listened to " A Rush of Blood to The Head " last week " X & Y " today. " X & Y" is by far the bands weakest album.
As far as the best " A Rush of Blood " and " Parachutes " are 1,2 or 2,1 followed by " Viva La Vida. "

That's where I got them. There's a lot more than just the ones I listed, but I only wanted the 2003 and prior songs.

I'm assuming there's more pre-2003 songs I'm missing. Does anyone know of any or have any not listed in my post above?

edit: going through my collection they're all the ones I have too. Only song I can see is Gravity which was played in 2002 but didn't make a B-side til X&Y I believe

Been listening to Coldplay a lot lately after a fairly lengthy break. "Strawberry Swing" and "Death and All His Friends" from VLV I think can rank up with any song off of Parachutes and A Rush of Blood to the Head. That's not a knock at all to those two albums, I just think those two songs are that good.

Strawberry Swing is good, but I still thing Violet Hill is one of the best Coldplay songs yet.

To anyone complaining about short concert time, Chris Martin has a weak voice (meaning he can lose it very quickly) so he performs within his limits. Maybe its annoying to you, but thats the way it is. He likes to take care of his voice.
