    It will take some trial and error to figure out how much to use, but I could tell right away running a comb through my beard what a difference it makes. So far I am liking it.

    After a few days now of using the beard oil, I can tell a huge difference. I love how soft it is when I run my hands through/over it.

    in the spirit of no shave November, anybody got a recommendation on a good beard trimmer?

    Looking for something that has multiple attachments for different lengths of beard. I like to just keep a nice shorter length beard during the winter. As soon as mine starts getting kinda long it becomes much less presentable

    I'm of no help. I use a comb and a combo of scissors, cordless razor (like the sideburn trimmer that pops out of the normal norelco cordless razor), and Gillette fusion precision blade.

    I've been using the same ~$15-20 Norelco trimmer from Walmart for almost 10 years when I started cutting my own hair. Then when I grew a beard 2 years ago, I started using it for that too. Looks like this is the most current comparable model. I may upgrade to it or one like it in the near future. But they've lasted and work great.

    Looks like I will reclaim the ants no shave november crown that I earned in 2013. I will shave tonight before I go to bed. I work in cancer. It won't get too unruly over 4 weeks to the point where it's unprofessional around patients. tally-ho!
