I just requested the group too. There are a few Aussie DMB pages floating around on Facebook....
I held back and didn't listen to the stream. I've ordered my super deluxe box from musictoday, but it won't be here for weeks
I'll hopefully get one imported from a record store in Sydney and have it next week
Oh and Sony Music Australia emailed me today (I work for Sanity). The new DMB record "is on our radar with no release date set"

I ordered the superdeluxe as well but music today shipping sucks the big one and it may arrive before the end of Sept.

I didnt find it the other half had it on when I got home from work............................and can I say what a great return to form am LOVING it

I pre-ordered before the artwork was even released and it still hasn't shipped, so much for shipping on the 8th....

Bluesfest first announcement...no dmb, , but Wilco, The Frames, (that's almost for me "2 out of 3 ain't bad", though dmb just so far ahead as number 1!!) Tedeschi Trucks Band, Santana, Steve Miller, Iggy Pop + others & as it's almost a legislative requirement of Bluesfest to have either Ben Harper or Jack Johnson.....this year......it's Ben

Ahh the cruxes of living in Australia. Just got an email from MusicToday saying that my deluxe edition is only getting shipped today, despite the fact I pre-ordered when it was announced.

Furthermore, my 8 track bonus disc is SOLD OUT, so they are sending me the 5 track version and giving me a digital copy of the 8 track.

Sold out?? They FORGOT about my fucking order, even though I ordered on day 1. Australia doesn't rank very highly with them :/

That is so crap! Their delay for Aussie orders happens all the time! I remember waiting an extra 2 weeks for shipping when the big whiskey set was released and again with the europe 09 set...
I also pre-ordered the first day it was announced back in June (without artwork)
mine shipped Tuesday 11th Sept (so the release date) but should have gone on 7th with everyone elses, so I called musictoday and pushed it along thinking the boxsets had sold out and I'd miss out... now the 3 week wait :|

How can a PRE-ORDER sell out.

Mine arrived on the 17th (though don't actually have it yet as went in with some others to split the postage cost & haven't had a chance to pick it up from them yet, planing to on Saturday). Also got the digital download so could listen without the stress of waiting for the post (I think for BW, ours went via Austria......took weeks)!

its not music today that sucks. its a legal thing. yes it does suck you guys live over seas, because you do not get the stuff that is released fast enough. but they legally cannot ship out something earlier just to get it to other countries. a release date is set and thats it. so yea does suck, but its not musictoday like everyone thinks.

According to Red Eye Records in Sydney, they said their suppliers in California are allowed to export stock early to other countries if its on hand, they just cant sell in US stores til thr release date...
Hence why I got the new album on Monday 10th here in Sydney, was shipped from the US on Friday 7th apparently. Very quick

Just got mine today. Wow that was a long delay! I'm almost scared to look inside my tube... just did, perfect condition. Guess I got lucky.

Oh wow the vinyl /jealous. Man if you are serious about the 8-track bonus then yeah that would be awesome. And it's perfect cause we are both in Sydney. I'll shoot you a PM.

thats where you're wrong it is Music today..............I have no issue with them not sending it earlier (although some reputable sites actually do that) its that the delivery time is terrible. I have ordered form many sites amazon ebay and other music sites from the states and the UK and the parcels (of a similar size and weight) can arrive within 7 days.

Music today has always been terrible but you can pay the exrta $60-80 to have it delivered in 7-10 business days ( so that means 2 weeks)

Today is exactly six years since DMB last played in Melbourne...May 1,2007 at Vodafone Arena...I know Dave was jetlagged & the gig got off to a slowish start but boy did they come home with a wet sail...one of my favourite gigs of all-time & my favourite DMB gig (from a massive total of three!)...watching the clips from the current tour in America makes me want them to come back,even though it won't be the same without LeRoi & Butch (yes Butch,I loved the guy's playing & his solos esp. on Two Step).
