Woods - With Light and With Love*

Picks up more near the second half. Lot of jammed-out sections which were sort of unexpected but worked well with the flow of the album. Liked it more than I thought I would after the first song or two.

Also, I know it got BNM so I'm a sheep etc etc, but Todd Terje's It's Album Time is straight up awesome.

salad days, mac demarco. i'm really enjoying this record. very relaxing, kind of a unique perspective of 'jangle' music.

i'm not entirely sold on the antlers album as of right now. the music is very beautiful and nice to listen to, but like someone else in this thread said it just kind of feels like one big track and it's difficult to pick up anything truly distinct on any specific song. i suppose that will probably go away as i listen to it more. i'm not going to put it in my 2014 list yet.

That is by far my favorite best of. I have no idea how many times I've played it but it never gets old.

i've really liked the 2 new tune-yards songs that have been released, i was also a huge fan of the last lp. looking forward to the new record.
