Gotta admit I don't really mind the Camden lawn scene too much either.

Not even close really... very good acoustic set. YMDT outro was the best i've heard live for sure. Raven tour debut, Nancies >Warehouse, Billies to close the set. Solid encore.

N2 on the other hand never got off the ground for me. Especially the electric set. From #41-on the show is actually pretty damn good on paper but the first few songs let the air out of the place so much that it was tough to get back up from that.

Typically N2 has been better but I'm sure someone will find a N1 that was better.
Philly is a great city to eat and drink your way through. Do both nights and have a blast. I'd be there but I'm already committed to being in Maine for family vacation that weekend. My kids would probably kill me if I cancelled Summer vacation.

It's really too bad Sasquehananananananahanana bank center has to be in camden. It's a glorious venue and Philly is an incredible city but the transportation after the shows is always god awful. Wish there was a better/faster/safer way to get over the water.

For sure the ferry is glorious on the way over to the show. But $12 beers later it feels like an eternity.

Id love a ranking of what was most painful for you that weekend: n1 having to come out to manayunk, the bus from manayunk to city hall, the cab from city hall to Camden, n1s debacle of taking Camden public transit, or the ferry night 2?

It was all painful. All of it. But Camden public transit was about to make me swan dive onto the tracks.

and thats why i park in the venue lots. i'd rather pay $20 to park there and be out within a few minutes than pay for the ferry and wait an hour and a half to get back to philly.

Never waited 1 1/2 hours for the ferry.
Maybe if you didn't catch the 1st ferry and had to wait for the 2nd but they jam a lot of people on that boat and we've never had an issue w/ it.

Always drive & park in either the Campbell's lot or the lot right next to the venue. Never had a problem with leaving. Plus tailgating is half of the fun. Oh besides the killer setlists. Have I mentioned that before? Haha
