Buy VIP parking. It's worth it, you'll thank me later. Seats are great anywhere in the pavilion, but better toward the center, of course. You'll find the 'Roi plaque at the base of the lawn past the entrance, it's pretty great.

Can't beat that especially over Memorial Day weekend. Obviously not the fanciest of places in the world but quite honestly it's not bad... I won't stay at shitholes.

I think I'm going to head down LATE Thursday night and leave sometime later on Sunday. This way I can avoid the nightmare that Monday will be. Plus I have a free RR night. HashTagLivingInStyle

Lots of nice hotels to choose from all within close proximity to the venue.

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn and Comfort Suites. Holiday Inn is new/nice and not too expensive IMO. Basically a short straight shot to the venue too. Comfort wasn't bad either especially since all did was use it for sleeping.

Staying at the Holiday Inn again this year.

Right on. The best western. Nothing fancy or professional about that hellhole. Avoid that place like the plague. Makes red roofs look fantastic. Also they will not let you check in until3pm so if you have somewhere to be expect long lines.

Just booked my flight from Tampa to Dulles today. $200 not bad for a holiday week especially flying out Friday and back home on Monday. Love the extra day to spend in VA (my home town). DMB is always a good excuse to go back and visit all my high school friends.

Now we can only hope for some cville this winter

Check hotels.com. But Fairfax isn't that far. Maybe 20-30 minutes from what I remember. I stay with family there every year after the show.

Farifax is about a 30 minute hike from the venue, componded by w66 traffic that will probably be a 16hr hike. I'd try and stay a little closer
