At least we've had some snow in the mountains so ski season hasn't been a total bust, but man fire season is gonna be so bad this year.

I hate the smell of air freshener. It's nice once or twice, but then you just associate it with a fat dump being taken and it's just gross and nauseating.

We're pretty good here, but that might be in part because the guys in the shop have their own washroom.

Though there was one day where my boss didn't realize I was still around (my office is kind of tucked away in a corner) and I came out and he was using the washroom with the door open. So, yeah....

There's a restroom out there too...and the shop guys use it. But the office guys don't. There's a healthy stack of magazines in there for when they use it.

And then there's the puddle that is constantly in front of the toilet...the one I have to make dramatic step around to avoid getting my pants in it. Someone has HORRENDOUS aim.

I'm going to New York on Friday! I'm so stoked, I've never been. Not the best time of the year, but oh well I'm used to the cold.

NYC is so much fun. How long will you be there? I know it sounds cheesey, but if it's your first time you need to do the touristy stuff. The double decker red buses are a great way to hit all of the highlights. You pay for a day pass and jump on and off at whatever stops you want.

Three moar days for me!!!! I'm hoping for another dance parteh at the Fox.

And yes, do the touristy things, but also try something off the beaten path.

Only 4 days. We will definitely be doing touristy stuff. I know some people who have lived there so we have gotten tips on how to see things as quick as possible.

Back to Oaktown! I actually liked Oakland more than SF.

For sure try some local haunts too, but for first time you kind of have to do Empire State Building and Ground zero and that kind of stuff.

Ya downtown Oakland is having a bit of a resurgence. And they love playing the Fox so the sets are usually money. Last year when Andy came up front and sang/rapped Regulate the entire place went wild. I kept watching the crowd and everyone was dancing and singing along.

That's an awesome picture. We are staying near battery park so we will see the Brooklyn bridge a lot.
