Not terrible but definitely the most overrated of the CO breweries. I'll take Odell, Oskar Blues, or Left Hand over that (in that order). Man I wish Odell distributed to Illinois. Can't wait for my 3rd annual August trip to CO. So glad DMB will be part of it this year.

. Odell's and Oscar blues have surpassed the commercial crap new Belgium pumps out. Whatever they had going died when they started expanding everywhere. Even the lips of faith line has turned to crap. I would rather not drink at all than partake in a new Belgium beer.

Enjoy colorado. Great place to visit.

The BEST place to visit. My sister moved to Fort Collins 2 years ago and we've been going out there in August each year. My wife and I like to hike so RMNP is perfect for that. Last year we did the Bear Lake to Fern Lake trailhead route and handled that pretty easily. This year I think we're going for Hallett's Peak.

You really can't go wrong with any of the hiking trails in RMNP. Hallett's peak is amazing, one of my favorites. The hike to Sky Pond is also a classic with little foot traffic after you pass the Loch. There is a bit of scrambling to get to sky pond but nothing horrible.

Hiked all the big peaks and major lakes in RMNP. One I suggest is Lion Lakes off the Wild Basin trail head. It's unreal and not a lot of traffic. Sky pond is also really nice. That was actually the last hike I did there. Longs Peak is worth doing but only once. So many people though. If you have questions about the park, PM me. I used to live in Estes.

i just moved to aurora at the end of last summer, so i haven't really had a chance to go hiking yet. where are some good shorter hikes (in RMNP or elsewhere) to start with? i saw a site that has trails listed and there were a lot that were like 10-14 miles round trip. looking for something more around 5 miles round trip that can be completed in a few hours, not taking most of the day. i don't want to kill myself from the start, and i'd like to have a couple beginner friendly places to go if friends or family come out to visit and want to venture around in the wilderness.

Horsetooth Mountain Park immediately west of Fort Collins is nice. It's a network of interconnected trails so your hike can be as short or as long as you want.

I second Mills lake in RMNP, good hike with great views. For a beginning hike around 5 miles I would also check out Cub lake in RMNP. The lily pads on Cub lake in the summer are incredible. Typically you will run into elk on Cub lake also.
