I wouldn't get nosebleeds but it really seems like the only good seats in the place are sideline views 1st and 2nd level.

I am strictly looking at Lower bowl under the $1500 for the weekend.. but from the pictures online if you're not on the sideline you are so farrrrr away. Even lower level corner seems like the court is almost a full football field away. Seems like I'd be spending boat load of $ to be watching on the Jumbotron.

oregon presents an interesting matchup scenario as well. since boucher got hurt, they're playing more than 32 minutes a game with a 4 guard lineup (counting brooks as a guard; it's at the least a 1-big lineup if you quibble with that definition).

bell being the one big; he's a springy fast-twitch athlete that's very different from adebayo from kentucky. in that scenario it's probably meeks that sits, if anyone sits. therefore you're looking at a lineup of berry-britt-pinson-jackson-hicks. very interesting but I don't know that it plays to carolina's strengths.

if carolina plays the typical starting five that almost assuredly puts hicks on brooks, which means that hicks picks up two fouls before the first TV timeout and they cobble together a maye/bradley/meeks combo for the rest of the game essentially.

basically I think maye is going to continue to have to play out of his mind.

I'd bet maybe 10% of hicks's career fouls are questionable / ticky tack. most of them are outright hacks

he his a hackmaster, no doubt. however I will say that it's so clear that his reputation as such precedes him and that officials blow the whistle at the first inkling of contact from him.

Easily the biggest swing in emotions I've ever experienced as a fan. Probably how UNC fans felt last year between the Paige and Jenkins shots.

there was at least a timeout between the paige and jenkins shot. ending of yesterday's game was a 12 second whirlwind from the missed FT

even before yesterday I was sufficiently brainwashed to the "never call a timeout" way of thinking. I have to think that even the loudest naysayers will be quieted somewhat by that turn of events

that's not bad... appreciate ya passing on the link.. The views below are what scare me though. Unfortunately there is no 2nd level sideline available or I'd scoop those up.

My buddy is lucky and got free tickets (good seats too), but I'm on the outside looking in to be included in those

Also, that 2009 team was so good. Won every game in the tourney by 10 or more points. Ginyard was my boy.

Oregon continues to surprise me, so I just assume they'll beat UNC at this point.

After Boucher went down I, like many, didn't think they had a run in them.

I think you need a mix of one-and-done talent and experience.

Duke 2015, in my opinion, is the ideal scenario/perfect roster build. They had three amazing freshmen talents but without Quinn Cook and Jefferson that team doesn't come close to a title.

he'll be a huge part of the offense next year if he doesn't leave.

finally changed out of his pink shoes yesterday too.

Cal started the post game presser by saying "amazing we were in this game after they practically fouled out my team".... went on to add "wish we coulda played a first half with a full roster." Not saying the refs were great, they weren't, but I mean both of Monk's fouls were clear as day, at least one of Fox's was a foul for sure. Fouls were 19-18 and no one fouled out....

That lineup he had in the first half was a much better defensive lineup (minus Bam) which kept UNC from scoring.. I think he should have brought Fox back near the end of the first half to get him at least into somewhat of a rhythm if possible. It threw off their rotation in the 2nd half too, Hawkins who was great for them all tourney seemed like he never got on the court after halftime.
