For Sale: 2005 Taylor 710ce

Hi everyone, I wasnt sure which forum to post this in..anyway

Im selling my 2005 taylor 710ce

sitka spruce top
indian rosewood back and sides
koa rosette

I am the second owner. I purchased it at a guitar in NYC roughly 2 years ago. Theres a minor cosmetic mark on the front right. I have kept the guitar in 45-50% humidity, the fret board is clean with 0000 steel wool and linseed oil every two months when the strings are replaced. The guitar is in overall great condition and comes with original hard case. I'm asking $1,850. If there is a number that you think is fair I would be willing to hear it. I think timing does matter to some extent. I would not say I'm in an overwhelming rush to sell it but I would like to sell it as quickly as possible.

so ebay is good, but the fees they'll hit you with are ridiculous. this guitar will sell for over 1300 easily on there, and so you should expect a 100+ sellers fee.

BUT, 2 very underrated places to go to is acousticguitarforum.com, or even the unofficialtaylorforums.com to sell.

bob taylor even shows up from time to time on the taylor one. really cool sites with a lot of cool people who buy and sell constantly.

Appreciate it. I currently have it listed on ebay with free shipping. So figure shipping is $150 (with $2k insurance), and ebays 10% plus pay pals percentage, I would prob net between $1,400-$1,500. The guitar was listed for $2,200 and I paid $1,900 about 2 years ago. I would like to take as little as a loss as possible but understand that the current market is what it is and wouldn't decline a reasonable offer...
