sure would be a wonnnnnderful OF to have. i feel confident that the Yankees will be in the negotiations for him, but I'm not assuming it's a 100% lock to see Harper in pinstripes.

Me neither, but he's likely going to be the highest-paid player of all time when he signs his new contract, and New York, Boston, and maybe LA are really the only teams who will be able to afford what he'll want (I've seen $500 million in some articles throughout the past year).

i've got a friendly bet with a buddy of mine regarding Harper's next contract. I say it'll be $500m, he thinks it'll be less. only a few teams can reasonably afford that

They split a couple series, no? So they haven't lost 10 in a row, they just haven't won one in the last 10. That and 3/26 isn't good regardless of how you slice it though, I agree. Too bad.

He's hitting the ball hard still, but seems to have lost a little oomph since the HR Derby. He's not striking out much more than normal, so his percentage of outs that are put in play is still relatively the same, which is as "good" of a sign as there can be in a slump.

Canandaigua. My wife is from there. We had a condo on the lake with her family. No plate. Lots of Wegmans though.

Canandaigua - that's where all the rich people have their houses. Galisano, Wegman, etc...

Great town, CMAC is a great venue too. The Finger Lakes are an awesome resource for this area, tons to do, and world class wine.

ESPN is saying 437ft. I’m not buying it. Earlier this year they said 400 for another home run while statcast said 450.

Nelson Cruz hit one 439 ft that went straight down the line and didn’t land nearly as high as Judge’s home run. I’ll say 470.

They've got to call up Chance Adams. I also wouldn't be surprised if they went for it and traded for Sonny Grey.

Big homestand coming up. Should take both against the last-place Reds. 3 of 4 vs. Tampa is doable as I think our rotation will align nicely for all but one game. Then we've got Detroit, who are barely hovering around .500 in July and 4th in the AL Central.
