That show sucks when either of them are gone. You need both. Wilbon might be a tool factory, but their chemistry is the best in the history of ESPN.

Other than the actual sports broadcast or Game Day, I can't remember the last time I really watched ESPN. Probably when I was single, so nine years or so ago.

Private entities, however, can pretty much do what they want. The First Amendment DOES NOT protect you against reprisals from your employer due to things you say.

If you are a Hobby Lobby employee and spend your weekends advocating for Planned Parenthood, they'd probably want you to stop.

Now, you can certainly think that's bad policy, but it's not a First Amendment issue.

ESPN essentially lost a bidding war for Skip Bayless less than a year ago. Today it lays off a legendary baseball reporter. Priorities.

Also, agreed on 30 for 30.

Anyone watch the XFL one from February?

Yeah that part was really interesting. Had no idea the suspended cameras were an XFL idea.

Lots of trips down memory lane watching that. I remember when their coverage of that big game their second week shit out. Crazy it was all due to a lack of gas in a generator.

30 for 30 is typically good. only otherwise tune to espn for live games, and outside of college football those are usually relatively poorly covered

Don't believe so. Seems like it's mainly been conference reporters and a few big names. Nothing groundbreaking yet (like SVP for example).
