and colorado isnt supposed to be this good this year. give it another year or two when our pitcher get some experience and really learn how to pitch. our window to win is like 10 years right now. our farm system is loaded and we have no where for most of them to play right now.

this next week is going to be HUGE for colorado. 2 more vs arizona and then at LA for 3 vs the dodgers this weekend. this could really set the tone for the rest of the season, and it was a great start tonight with the comeback win. im going to the game tomorrow night (wed). gonna be a hell of a time.

Scherzer on his way to no hitting the Marlins. 7 innings down, 10 strikeouts, just under 100 pitches. I think maybe one or two guys have even come close to getting a hit. His stuff is filthy today.

Scherzer lost the no-no on an infield single that hit off his glove and ended up in no-man's land behind him. What a shitty way to lose it.

And now Scherzer is no longer in line for the win. After the infield single, he gets a fielder's choice, then an error to extend the inning, a HBP, a wild pitch scoring a run, and an RBI single by Stanton to take the lead. Dusty left him out there for over 120 pitches, I kinda feel bad for him.

He doesn't have much of a reason to honestly. They've let him down more than their fair share this season.

When will he learn to trust his pitchers. Not trusting his pitcher cost him his job in San Francisco.

I know that's what I'm saying their bullpen is a mess and even he doesn't trust them.

Mat Kemp walk off last night. This team won't make the playoffs, but they are damn fun to watch!

Orioles have quite the streak going. 20 games in a row now where they've given up 5+ runs.

Nats might be able to get Melancon back for cheap. Maybe a low 10 prospect or less to take on that contract. Could be the Nats cheapest way to get a closer this year

Just give the rest of your farm to the Chi-Sox for Robertson. I'm honestly surprised the Nats didn't get him in the off season. Was hoping the Mets would trade for him earlier in the season, but y'know. He makes sense for the Nats.
