Any chance of an Eagles cover this year?
We all know Dave loves covers, and with the recent passing of Glenn Frey ...could we get a nice Eagles cover this year?

I'm thinking no. Hotel California could be cool but I'd rather them focus on bringing back some rarities from their own catalog for the anniversary/last full tour.

They could phone in any number of shitty Eagles songs, so it wouldn't surprise me. I hope they don't though.
If they're going to cover dead people songs this summer, they should cover Bowie. |

I really hope not. For my own personal reasons, I absolutely hate The Eagles. There's just something about their sound that I can't stand. I like Hotel California and that's about it. Also, covers are just getting boring. With it being their 25 anniversary as a band, and their last tour before a break, it would be nice to see them dig deep into the catalog and give us a tour that spans their whole career. This will be a very disappointing tour if they select their standard grouping of songs and drop an old song in here and there. A few standard covers is cool like, Watchtower, Long Black Veil, The Maker and maybe Sledgehammer, but hopefully they focus on the DMB catalog this summer.
