You might be better off waiting. Here are the release dates of the iPhones:

Yeah, I'd wait for iphone5 or viphone.

I'm on a skip a year pace, so hopefully iphone6 is 4G and kicks ass. A car starter/fob app would be kick ass.

need help: turned my iphone 4 off at the movies last night, turned it back on afterwards and it says "No service." Have turned it on and off, but still no service.

If I go to

About->Network->not available->(it reads) SIM not allowed

Any suggestions before I go back to the apple store?

the first thing they'll attempt is to do a hard reset. on the 3G you had to insert a paper clip into a tiny hole, but i wasn't sure about the 4G so i googled it (and it looks easier).

my friend at work just got an EVO and i gotta admit... i'm impressed. huge screen, beautiful colors/resolution, 4G service, free ability to tether/wifi hotspot.

Apple and ATT better step it up for the next gen. hate to say it but i might convert if not.

I wasn't having too much luck, and I popped into the ATT store when they opened. Guy replaced my sim card and I was back in business.

did not want to be without my phone over Thanksgiving.

AT&T needs to step it up with their coverage. Verizon is killing them in that area.

I've had that feature on my Android handset for over a year now.

Blackberry had personal text tones years ago (when I had a BB). I just did the update... as far as I can tell, you can't put your own tones on... so that stinks. Oh well. The idea is good. But I don't like the default text tones.

So this might have already been covered (sorry if it has, don't want to backread 50 some pages), but what are the odds of the iPhone coming to Verizon? Been hearing rumors all over and my contract is up with Sprint in December. Considering the possible switch to Verizon, esp. if the iPhone is available.

I don't really keep up with ALL of the rumors but I just did a quick Google search and this was posted 1 hour ago:

The Verizon iPhone is most likely going to be released in the first quarter of 2011. Although this is not official, purely rumours. Verizon have begun testing their 4G technology so that it can be integrated on to their new phone, this is a good sign for a Verizon iPhone. Apple have already signed a deal so that they are the carrier for Apple’s iPad this has indicated that a similar deal could follow shortly in regards to Apple’s phone devices, the iPhone. 2011 should be a good year for Verizon.

I figured with Verizon iPad, the iPhone was surely to follow. I just wish the announcement would come out already . Thanks for the news/update!

I got it on Monday. Not too many bee features for the phone but yeah you can do 'find my iPhone' for your iPhone 4, iPod touch 4th gen., or iPad. It works pretty well and will definitely come in handy.

I updated earlier today. The text tones are insanely long. I just want short text tones. Something similar to Tri-tone is ideal but with variation. I don't know why Apple is being difficult. On top of that... you can't customize with your own (yet). I just don't get it.

I haven't looked into the free location service yet (I was too disappointed with the above)

Jesus I know right! They are as long some of the ring tones. Im rocking the typewriter tone right now, one of the shorts ones.

Seriously, none of these text tones are even workplace appropriate because they're soooo long. Something short is more acceptable. I just don't know what Apple is thinking. If Steve Jobs had to listen to "Anticipate" during a meeting when someone's phone was blowing up every 15 seconds with text messages... you know that person would instantly get fired

Updated to the latest version of tapatalk a few days ago (maybe a week ago). Everytime I open the app, I have to log into Ants. Damn! I hope tapatalk fixed this glitch fast!

This has to be one of the buggiest apps (next to Facebook) that I've ever come across for iPhone.

I'm wondering if it's because I'm closing down the app in my multitasking list as well. This was never an issue with the older versions of the app, until recently.
