It's totally fucked they can pick and choose shows. I see artists available in one city but not in another.
All they're doing is giving away lawn seats that wouldn't otherwise sell. Then they make money back on beer sales, parking etc. this is only a net positive for them.

This is one reason I didn't want to go to Matchbox 20 at Lakewood in Atlanta (where DMB plays 90% of the time). Aside from it being far away, in a ghetto area, you also have to pay for parking.
Verizon Wireless is in the suburbs, closer to me, where D&T played last and DMB did 2 nights some years ago, and the tickets always include parking. But none of the voucher shows there were interesting to me.
