I knew Spiderman was going into the Marvel Universe, just didn't realize they scrapped the ASM series. Seems like they were doing everything right with that series to.

A lot of people would disagree with you on that one, at least in regards to Amazing Spider-Man 2. I liked the first one, but the second one was not great.

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone were great. Everything else, not so much.

Pretty much my thought on this as well. I trust Marvel/Disney to handle it better than Sony did, but still, can't help but laugh.

Watched Thor yesterday, will watch Captain America after Agents of Shield tonight.

Thor was better than I remembered I never noticed The Hulk reference when Dr. Selvig is on the roof talking to Jane about SHIELD.

That said, you can have Peter Parker in high school but not necessarily tell another origin story. Peter can be a senior and have already had his powers for a full year. Basically, Marvel has been waiting a long damn time to get Spiderman, and now that they've finally got him, I just don't envision them taking the character and punting him ahead 10 years in his experience. I'd think they want to be able to tell the WHOLE story right, once and for all.

Opening titles need to have a voice over saying something like "You've probably already heard my story so I wont bore you with it"

Was just starting Cap tonight and then my wife got home with a friend of hers and took over the living room hahaha. Aiming for tomorrow or Thursday then Avengers Sunday! Meant to check in and see if you were still doing this. Great idea.

I liked Thor, but I will say those movies may not be my favorite. First one was definitely good, but I thought it got a bit more praise than it deserved.

Yeah I went on vacation for a week also just some random stuff going on in my life that's been filling my time instead of the boards.

You are right about Thor though, it's a little corny at times. The best parts in my opinion are his remarks when trying to fit into earth's society. Like when he smashes the coffee cup.

Really stoked for the Avengers on Sunday!

I've been looking for a legal place to rent and stream Capt 2 and Thor 2 online. Every app on my Roku wants me buy the movies and there's no point in that when I just want to have a refresh watch. Anyone know of a place?

    Two things:

1.) Is the Deadpool movie animated or with real people? I saw the first promo picture of Reynolds in the costume and couldn't tell if it was really or animated ha

2.) a.) Watched Capt 2. last night. One thing that didn't occur to me until my rewatch, but to be called The Winter Soldier, they sure didn't have very many scenes featuring Bucky. He was in around 6 total scenes.
b.) When are they going to address the ending to Capt 2? Bucky got away and Capt said he was going to find him. Is that were Avengers 2 starts? I'm not sure I see how it'll connect or be addressed.
c.) The stinger to the movie is so much cooler and interesting now that the Avengers 2 trailers are out.

The Deadpool promo picture definitely appears somewhat cartoonish, but the film is live action.

As for where Age of Ultron picks up for Captain America, I'm sure there will be a reference to his search for Bucky. Probably not much more than that though.

Maybe... I think it's more of "general goal" that he's set for himself, rather than something that he's about to go do right now.

Personally, I hope they'll address whatever Fury's up to

Agreed. I wondered if it has some thing to do with the Infinity Wars because of how at the beginning when he tried to open the files on the jump drive and it said Nick Fury had put the encryption on there I wondered if it was his clone or something.

Ok good about Deadpool. I'm glad I'm not the only one that sees it.

That makes sense about Captain America. I'm guessing Winter Soldier will reappear in Civil War? I don't remember him being a part of the comic story but they've already said they'll deviate from that some. Maybe he's part of how the Registration Act gets started?

There's already been confirmation that the Winter Soldier will appear in Civil War. His involvement wouldn't be that much of a deviation, although his impact in the comics was felt more in the aftermath of what transpired as opposed to any direct conflict during the movement itself.

Regardless of the driving force behind the Civil War, I see it as the best opportunity for Cap and Bucky to rekindle their friendship. A forged in the heat of battle sort of explanation.

I watched Guardians for the 2nd time over Thanksgiving and I have to agree with everything you said. Just a great movie, Marvel's one two punch with Winter Soldier and Guardians has raised the bar so much for their movies.

It has nothing to do with there possibly being a Nick Fury clone, I'm not sure where that came from. But the whole catalyst for Hydra coming out is Nick gets suspicious when he can't open the drive, the computer telling him that "Director Fury" supposedly classified it, meaning someone high up was obviously doing something very nefarious.

and the whole Bucky thing, well story-wise it's still mostly conjecture at this point so doesn't really need to be spoilered. We know as a fact on the production element that Sebastian Stan's contract was for 9 films (I think Jackson is the only other one that signed one that high). Initially I thought Cap 3 was going to be more about Steve searching for Bucky, but obviously the more we've come to learn about that story and it being Civil War, maybe that still will be a factor, but a smaller one. But yea in the comics after awhile Bucky is fully un-brainwashed and becomes the new Captain America.

Alright I'm hoping to hell this works, I've never made a torrent of my own at this place. I mean it appears to be up and online, but I won't feel confident about it until I hear from someone actively downloading it. But here is the slightly over 4 hour "movie" that I edited together from The Winter Soldier and the last few season 1 episodes of Agents Of Shield

Isn't posting torrent links frowned upon on this site, regardless if it's DMB or not?

honestly I thought I'd seen it before in the past, but if the mods want it to be edited, so be it
