I'll be at this one. This is the one show I'm guaranteeing to go to. I just hope the setlist is more desirable than last time. Gah, that was the worst DMB show I've ever seen - performance, setlist, crowd, etc.

I enjoyed myself the last time around. The crowd wasn't that bad to me but I was around 15 or so friends. They also thought I was a wizard because I called seven and warehouse. That set was generic but enjoyable to me starting from DDTW.

Southaven is a suburb of memphis. You get off at the Southaven exit on 55 and head east for about 2 miles or so and make a right and the venue is on your left if I recall correctly. Not hard to get to at all. The venue is pretty small, less than 10k I think.

No pit. Very, very small. The seating is tiny and the lawn is small. Unless they fixed the problem, the beer lines were ENORMOUS last year because they underestimated the number of carts they need. There isn't a bad seat in the place. You can sit on the back rail in the lawn and still the show better than you could the lawn at most other venues.

That was a bad setlist. Worst setlist I have seen. It was a very bad opening run eh hee opener followed by seven than if only. Even a modern day grey street beats the hell out of those 3 songs .

One thing about this venue is that the surrounding area is nice. I remember there was a baseball complex and a nice restaurant/bar across from the complex. At the restaurant/bar they were blasting some dmb and that was getting me pumped for the show. Good times haha

I am, 8 this summer, it's my most ever.

I accept that the shows probably won't be that great, but the Midwest is getting a LOT of love and I will keep myself if I don't take advantage of this opportunity

The WH says it is selling GA pit standing for this show. In 2013, it was all reserved. We had either 2nd or 3rd row, and the ushers told us before the show started that poeople in the first few rows could move into the little area between the front row and the stage. Idk if they are going to sell tickets for that space or if thye are going to remove some of the seats in sections 1-5 for the pit.

Probably be the same, if more people stand then it would block a lot of viewing. With Southaven, I'll take any seat Im given. There's literally not one bad seat, and even if it's only for 5 minutes, I like to sit and rest the knees

Thats interesting. It's such a tiny venue the first 5 rows will feel like half the reserved

I forgot we were at the same hotel. Probably gonna stay there again. Rooms are only like 52$ and they were super clean.

Wish I could make it again bit it's looking like Arkansas will be my only show. Whenever some stuff gets paid off I'll be able to do more shows. Of course by then the band will probably be done lol

Ha when they closed with Watchtower we all looked at each other said peace out. We beat the traffic by several minutes. The only thing I regret about leaving early from that show was that we didn't do it earlier.

BUT it's good to know it's an easy out in case this year's show is actually good.

tailgating/pregaming is a must at snowden grove, imo.. Solely based upon the fact that last time the beer lines were outrageous. Also, bringing in a flask is pretty simple to
