I think this may be a popular thought. I wonder if by putting a show Saturday night so close to Hartford they really did damage to ticket sales on a Friday in Hartford.

I am not all that worried about money. I have accepted the fact my credit card is fucked. I would rather save a day off from work and go to Mansfield on Saturday. I went to Mansfield last year it wasnt terrible. It does blow getting out of the lots regardless of where you park

May skip Hartford for the first time ever. With Jones and Holmdel same week, and Hartford only being one night, not sure it's worth the trip. Have to think about this one.

If you pay to park in the Premiere lots or the independent lots you can fly out of there. I understand about the days off, but wouldn't you have to take the 3rd of July off for Saratoga anyways? If it's between venues, by all means do SPAC. But I think it's going to be next to impossible to get in there this year. I'm skipping it and doing Hartford/Mansfield.

I paid to park in that first lot last year it was $40. Sat in traffic in the parking lot for about an hour and a half. Just saying, I normally don't bitch about traffic I expect it. Skipping Hartford and taking off July 3rd still saves me a vacation day. I am afraid to skip hartford for the first time in 7 years and miss something crazy. Who am I kidding tomorrow I am probably going to say screw it and put in requests for Hartford, Mansfield and both nights of SPAC.

Me too. Hartford has been such a fun weekend the past few years. Stupid New England kids have to like country music more than DMB now. Hate that that shit is basically once a week during the summer. How many god damned Country Fests are there?!

Ticket sales have declined in a major way the past couple of years. N1 last summer was almost depressing it was so empty. Even the front desk of the hotel I was staying at said it was the least busy of a weekend they've seen for DMB.

Because I usually bring my two daughters on Friday and my wife on Saturday I now have to somehow get 4 pit or seats tickets for Friday.

Although it is sad only 1 night, it cemented our decision to road trip somewhere new this year. We will go to Hartford but also drive down to Virginia memorial day weekend for Bristow and maybe Raleigh as well since kids have that Friday off. We will likely skip Raleigh, though, and spend time in Charlottesville, something we always wanted to do.

Same for me. If Hartford was still two nights I probably wouldn't be going to Camden. Smart on DMBs behalf, make Hartford one night and force me to travel for a two night stand. Still doing Hartford and Mansfield

Anyone ever do the premium tickets from Warehouse for Hartford?

I haven't been there since before pit existed at DMB shows. So I'm wondering if the premium tickets are worth it. Totally regretting requesting them. I usually go to Camden but I figured the 1 nighter in Hartford would be ok. Please tell me something good. Basically I'm paying $250 for a seat worth $75, a poster, and a mystery item. I'm such an idiot.

Country music has definitely killed DMB in CT. So annoyed. As much as I have complained about all the high schoolers at the shows for the last few years, they were the ones buying the tickets and allowing us to have two nights. Now they all go see whatever crappy country act is in town and get wasted there instead. Hopefully Dave and the boys will realize the travesty and give us one hell of a single night, not that much could top last year for me.

I just don't understand why DMB management would make the one Hartford night a Friday night when that's the night that has been weak over the last 2 years. It seems like they should have reversed venues for this weekend with Hartford being packed on Saturday...

The only silver lining is that Hartford could end up getting an amazing setlist given that it's only one night...

The Friday night was definitely a poor choice... and to give Mansfield the Saturday night?? Of all places... Mansfield?? Bleh.

all you country haters need to chill. Country shows are more fun that DMB shows, all things considered.

If I wasn't a huge DMB fan, I would absolutely go to a country show over a DMB show.

Hell, I am a huge DMB fan and I'm probably skipping Camden for the NYC Country Festival.

Hartford will sell just as well on Friday as it would a Saturday show IMO
