We usually eat at Fazoli's when we get into town

We don't have one here and I like their breadsticks.

Better off driving into memphis and getting some BBQ, then heading back to southaven! Don't know much of what's around the venue but last time zaxbys hit the drunken spot for me before the show

Planning on moving to Nashville in April, might try and make this show happen. Any tips and tricks for the venue? Correct me if I am wrong but this show as sold out in the past yes?

Small venue - not a bad seat in the house. Lots of grassy parking close to the venue. Really great little spot.

We scored uppers, but had uppers in 2013 and still had a great view.

Nice, with it only being a few hours from Nashville I'll be happy just to be in the building seeing a show at a new venue in a new state.

I pulled a seat on Row B, Section 3 (dead center) but got to checkout and it was going to be $100 so I opted for a cheaper seat. It's such a small venue there's not a huge difference between the actual seats.

There really isn't a bad seat in the venue.

2 years ago, we got 7th row center and the first 5 rows were considered pit seats, which was mentioned earlier. I got 5 pit tickets this morning through the pre-sale, but it said no seats, standing room only. Not sure if the tickets stated that from 2 years ago though. I am curious to see how it will be this time. Also, I guess I don't remember the concert being that bad, however I also think it was because my then 12 year old daughter scored a drumstick. She had made a poster for Carter and he pointed at her and threw the first drumstick to her. Even though the guy behind us caught it, he eventually gave it to her. She had just been through 6 months of medical procedures and was finally given a clean bill of health, so that concert and her joy from it, made it pretty awesome for me. I have been to several concerts here though since I live just north of Memphis. There are really no bad seats.

Growing up in Memphis, my very favorite place to tell people to eat is Rendezvous of course. It is in an alley in downtown Memphis across from the Peabody hotel. Other places I really like is Hueys and Gus's, which are also downtown. I do not know much about the Southaven area since the only time I go there is for this venue, but there is a cool places to hang out directly south of it.

We usually do Rendezvous and Fazoli's (because we don't have one here). Both are fantastic. Rendezvous has the best BBQ in the freaking world.

I pulled "uppers" for this one. I was gonna do lawn since it's so cheap but a seat is fantastic in case they mail it in again

bit the bullet and got pit, will more then likely be my only show, unless I make a family trip to Germany... My question is, was I the only that had to use will call? It didn't give me another option

as much as I hate TM, I'd rather give my money to them opposed to Stub Hub... Just looked, Stub Hub has over 400 tickets already, they have lawn for $80. Just a random thought, because I almost decided to wait and go the stub hub route.

Pit is generally always will call. It's to prevent scalping and people swapping up tickets so they can all get into the pit since there's no designated seat. The worst downside to it is if you can't go anymore and you can't find a close friend to take your ticket (you have to show cardholders ID to get it) you have to eat the ticket. I had to do that for Orange Beach '13. Couldn't make the show, had a pit ticket and the venue wouldn't refund me or let me sell it. So I ate the $90. Sucked.

It's my understanding that most venues sell some of their tickets on Stubhub to help raise some of the demand. It's ethically unsound but I know it's a pretty common practice.

    Re: *** Official Southaven 2015 Thread ***

Wish I knew if I was going to do this show yet or not. Won't know until April if I can make it, its times like this when Willcall only sucks.

If anyone wants to buy two pits and maybe sell me one that would be cool. Won't be hard to sell if I can't make it.

So TM shows a pit this tjme, any ideas how that'll work this go around? Really small area for too big of pit. And also, besides dmb in 2013, this is the first time I have ever seen a designated area for pit at snowden grove. I got pit tix, so curious
