Finally an entire family walking a dog; the kids saw me and pulled their dog over, but dad/grandpa was strolling casually way over on the right staring at his phone. Never looked up and no one ever said dad, look out. Actually had to come to a stop and kind of straddle-walk the bike past them, this time saying "eyes up!" as I rode off.
And I wasn't flying up on these people either. Just more instances of inconsiderate people not being aware of their surroundings or how a walking/biking path works.

Still beats riding on a 55mph road. I just fixed my Trek 4300 that I was trying to sell up...brakes and derailleur calibrated, oiled, etc. Went out for a ride, second time ever, I ride facing traffic on the shoulder, an asshole goes to pass a car turning left on the shoulder...nearly hit me. Legally, I'm supposed to ride the same direction as traffic...naw, fuck that. I'd be dead.
