oh my god. These two new AC songs are INSANE. I can't even pick which one I like better. I am loving all the lush sounding guitars. Sounds like they reverted back to their pre-MPP song to a degree with these. Cannot fathom that anyone that is a fan of AC finding any sort of faults with these songs.

Honeycomb sounds like some sort of crazy trip on drugs. Reminds me of Water Curses to a degree.
Gotham is kind of this slow burner that just builds up into quite jam.

Honeycomb is current favorite, but I can see me growing the other direction after future listens.
Wondering if these are gonna be on the new album or what. But I am excited as hell now for this new album.

Reminds me of going back to Feels era AC with a hint of Water Curses thrown in too.

Sorry this post is riddled with spelling/grammar mistakes and missing words. Guess thats what happens when you post while blasting AC through headphones...massive breaks in concentration

Also haven't posted in awhile so I am going to vomit all over this thread but:

Craft Spells EP is all sorts of AWESOME. Just a short collection of six kick-ass songs
Ramona Falls: Don't get the hate on here. Just finished listening last night, and I thought it was great. Gonna be on heavy rotation for me.
Best Coast: Didn't expect much, was pleasantly surprised. Really quite enjoyable.

Too much going on in these AC songs imo. Kind of sounds like I have 5 sets of speakers on all with different genres of music blasting out of them.

I've never really been a fan of AC, but I'm going to have to check out the song "Gotham". How can I not check out a song named "Gotham". What would even be better is if it's about the Gotham. Doubt it, though.

Totally agree, these songs are fantastic. "Gotham" definitely gives me that "Street Flash" vibe from Water Curses (which IMO has some of my favorite AC music, great EP). Love it. Hope this means that the new LP will be coming in the fall.

speaking of passion pit, is there any word at all about MGMT potentially putting an album out this year? I feel like if they can find a balance between Congrats and Oracular, it could be really good.

Chorus is embarrassing to listen to. This is bad. I was obsessed with their debut but this single has me worried.

Passion Pit song would've been sick without the "whoa-oh-oh" background vocals. It's not bad, but not as good as anything on Manners.
