the Red Sox have zero idea what their identity is.

Two years ago it was "we do things differently than the Yankees" and they tried to get by with journeymen and young talent and finished last. This season it is spend 200M and will likely finish last.

They need to clean house from the top down including the GM and Manager.

I have no idea what the team will look like next year at this time. I have even less of an idea about what it will look like in two years. I know clay is not a problem right now though.

yeah, he wouldn't be a "rental" so if they moved him now it better be for a haul. he still has two years after this at great value.
