Trump's foreign policy could be Obama level bad, or it could be ok. Not impressed with Tillerson or McMaster at all. Nikki Haley seems to be about the only person with her head on straight.

But as long as he doesnt let McCain and Graham talk him into some dumb war it will just be status quo.

Exactly. Some of that should be expected when you're not an establishment choice taking on the establishment. Part of his problem is that he's doing it with all of the charm and subtlety of a bowling ball.

But if he were more palatable, he probably wouldn't have won.

I feel like they're the same in that supporters on each side hope the story is true because it would invalidate in a major way the presidency of each person.

But I also feel like that's where the similarities end.

It's hard for me to ignore that one of those issues isn't more credible or substantive than the other at least thus far. There are multiple investigations into connections between Russia and this administration. The only thing that ever came of the birther rabble was lawsuits that went nowhere.

That's fair but do you really think Trump is, allegedly, the only politician with connections to foreign governments? I've always thought the timing of the below story was amazingly convenient.

One of the pleasures—indeed, the main pleasure—of traveling is to get outside the comfort zone you know and immerse yourself entirely in another culture.
