Ursadon - I saw John Paul White a few weekends ago and I gotta be honest, it was super boring. I was pretty disappointed in the show. Hope you get a better performance.

Free show at a park, didnt expect much. I could see how a lot would think he was kind of boring. Slow and sad

I've actually seen him twice in the last year or so. Most recently at The Mill in Iowa City.

First song in, there was a drunk woman standing and dancing by herself close to the stage. After a few songs he stopped and jokingly said something along the lines of, "do you know who you came to see tonight? You are going to leave here very sad and in no dancing mood at all"

Just looked up who this guy was. Never knew his name but always thought he looked very similar to Jack White. Funny they have the same name.

Bob Seger has the lamest rock moves. Saw him about 20 years ago and the show was basically a 2 hour fist pump.

I saw him in 2007 and the man was a rocking grandpa. I remember he brought out a headband with his big ole glasses and was running around fist pumping. It was incredible.

Just checked out his tour dates. He completely avoids the NYC area as well as California. I find that bizarre.

    Re: Your 2017 Concerts

Just completed a pretty epic jam packed concert weekend. Friday, I flew solo to Louisville KY for U2 Joshua Tree tour which was fantastic. Had a great spot between the b stage and the main stage/giant screen. Loved seeing the JT album in full. Love the deep tracks like Trip Through Your Wires, Im god's Country, Red Hill(sounded beautiful) etc. finally saw Bad one of my absolute favorites. Got up the next morning drive to Cincinnati to fly home (Delta points) to Raleigh and met up with a co worker for Third Eye Blind at Red Hat Amphitheater. Blind sounded good and getting their S/T debut in full was fantastic. A college buddy and I road tripped to Columbia for D&T last night and this was his first D&T show. Glad I was able to upgrade my seats to 6 rows back dead center for his first(surprised him as I originally had lawns) and he was extremely grateful. While it was an ambitious weekend, I think it ended up going pretty damn smooth overall. Think I may sleep for 12 hours...

Joe Walsh is such a great guitarist. Pumped to see TP&TH next month in Baltimore. I've been catching them on tour every chance I get since the Highway Companion tour in 06.Excited for Tom to give us the Wildflowers Deluxe reissue soon as well.

Have you heard anything about that? I thought we were supposed to be getting it this past spring? Hoping the plan to release has not been scrapped.

I saw them earlier in May.

Tom Petty was incredible. At my show he did a Wildflowers bit and played several songs in a row from that album. I enjoyed him this year more than when I saw him in 2010.

Joe Walsh was....well, it was cool to say I've seen him. He's never been a good singer but he was awful. His guitar skills seemed to be not as tight as I remember seeing him with the Eagles in 2009. It was almost like he doesn't practice or has arthritis or something. His other guitarist took most of the solos. I'm a really big Joe Walsh fan (sometimes more than I care to admit) and I was pretty bummed by his performance.

That said, Joe was pretty funny. He had some really great banter between songs.

Just guessing, listing the people I know I want/plan to see.

I do know Band of Heathens will be playing Friday, but that's it.
