I really hope he tours soon though. I've seen him 3 times and the Trio once. I'd love to see both again.
I'd kill to see the Trio. JM3 is such a different animal than his normal band. I mean hell, it's Pino and Steve Jordan, how sick is that?

I'm glad I got to see Steve Jordan play in JM's regular band last March. He's so sick

Yeah, he ditched Jordan this year, kinda makes me upset. Steve Jordan is the man.

I saw Jordan with the John's normal band at Philips arena March of 2010. He is unreal and they play so well together.

That's the rumor, at least in Europe so far. D'Angelo was hoping Questlove got suspended for the Bachmann incident so he could join them. That would've been ridiculous.

i have heard two sides to his shows. Some people who have seen him said that his shows are kind of boring, like he mails it in. Others have said it was an amazing experience and the energy he plays with on stage is incredible.

From videos i watch, i am more keen to think the latter than the former. I am also a teenage girl when it comes to guitar playing. Tim solos are my favorite part of any DMB show.

I saw him back in 2007 and it was great. He really puts a lot of energy into his shows. I've been wanting to see him since then but I just haven't had the chance.

I was at the first 2 Trio shows at the Fillmore, it was so awesome being there, obviously a total departure from the prior shows I had seen....

Side note- Barry Zito was there the 1st night, he bought my buddy and I a drink at the bar, cool guy

JJ Johnson is pretty damn good, but Steve is in an entire different league imo

I didn't think JM was good enough to play with Steve and Pino the first time I heard of JM3.
