2 winters ago we got 110" of snow in like 6 weeks. and then the following year we got jack shit. i'm hoping for a repeat of 2014/2015 although that's unlikely. as long as its colder and snowier than last year i'll be happy

All the tree's in my yard still have leaves up. I will be doing yard work for another month.

I cannot wait to put my mowers away and get out the snowmobiles. It cannot come soon enough.

No heat on yet, dropped to 37 last night in northern Ohio.

Last few years around here stuff didn't finish dropping off of trees until the week after Thanksgiving. It appears to be on the same pace this year. I pay somebody to come clean up my yard, fuck that.

Thinking about doing that this year... I normally just keep up with the leaves by mowing every few days. Just bought a new house and they are fucking knee deep already. Fuck that.

I don't have my own house, but we lived with my in-laws the year leading up to our wedding in the middle of Merrimack, NH and their lawn would be covered with leaves. I don't know why, but there was something therapeutic about blowing leaves. I used to put in some ear buds and cover them with noise cancelling ear muffs, listen to some music and just go. I enjoyed every second of that.

If Pittsburgh got snow you would think there would be a chance for snow in DC with Pittsburgh only being four hours away. But DC is a weird place when it comes to snowfall and they don't get much at all.
