Well, we're 6 months into the dmb off season and only a little bit more than two months until the tour starts again. im not going to lie, I cant wait until this show. I am counting down the days until this show like a little kid counting down the days until Christmas.

Really liked the intimacy of this venue the last time around. I hope they do a better job with concessions this time and keep the folks on the lawn a little happier, though.

I'll be in the pit for the first time at this show. I'm going to be honest I'm looking forward to going into the pit for the first time and almost instantly getting a Huge rush of adrenaline.

can y'all believe its been 2 years since round 1 at southaven. seems like it was yesterday i was at gus's fried chicken in memphis talking about how excited i was for the show in my home state. well, anyway 3.5 weeks away from round 2 hopefully the setlist will be much better than last time. i looking forward for tailgating in the parking lot. i think the parking lot is grass so i hope i doesn't rain before the show so it won't be so muddy.

I hope we get a better setlist than last time. Ugh. It was rough

Agreed about the set. Do you think they will have the full video board setup etc this time ? They didn't at the last Southaven show but I wonder if that was due to it being a one off show. Also are there still pits on warehouse instants? I don't have a membership but I would probably sign up just so I could grab a couple.

Yes, there are still pits available on instants!

They won't need video boards because the venue is so small. Even when you sit on the very back rail of the lawn you're still in the pavilion section of most venues.

That's pretty sad. One of the smallest venues on the tour and it can't even sell out the pit section.

Either that or they've SEVERELY oversold the pit section.

I just meant with the graphics and other videos that go with the songs, there were boards on the side of the stage when I went before just nothing behind the band.

The back of the stage looked crapy in 2013 it almosed looked like a mesh fishing net. I the stage is too small for a vid board they should have something like this

Is pit that small? I'm flying solo to this show since I just booked a work trip out there that day. Going to grab an instant but dont know if I should do reserve or pit. Hitting up Dallas, Woodlands, and AR before and i have a variety of seating options, but just curious on the vibe here.

They didn't have a pit last time so I couldn't tell you exactly how big it is but it shouldn't be bigger than 8 or 10 rows. I would do pit of I were you. The only bad thing about the pit s that you can loose you spot easly especially if you are going solo. The vibe at the venue I fine. There's this cool bar by the baseball fields within walking distance of the venue. The bar has an outside area they had some speakers playing dmb. They played a lot of dmb hits but they played some other stuff like baby blue. That got me in the mood for the show. It's a cool place if your into that kind of stuff. If your into the tailgateing seen I think the parking lot was grass and there was a few trees so you can get some shade. The acutuall venue is cool I like it a lot. Not one bad seat in the house. One thing that is kinda funny is that the fence behind the lawn is a plain chain link fence. That's the only time I have seen that haha. Most of the time they seem more sturdy than that. Also if your OCD or something you will notice that the seats are a little cheap and faded but who cares.

Am I the only one who has really low expectations for this show? The last time they played this venue left such a bad taste in my mouth - I can't not think about that horrid setlist every single time I think about this show.

I think it will be a little bit better because it Is part of the real tour this year. Even the worst set last year was better than last time at southaven. I would think it would improve a bit.

I'm not that active on the boards obviously but I am really excited about this show. It's the only one I get to to go this summer so I'm hoping for a good setlist and vibe. Whatever the setlist ends up being, I plan on enjoying myself! First time in pit on a summer tour! Eek! Driving down from southern Illinois.
