PS3 and high def TV help
Hey all.
I have a Panasonic Viera plasma HD tv (from 2008). My HDMI inputs on the TV are burnt out on the TV due to a faulty cable box. I have a Playstation 3 that has a spot in the back labled "AV multi out". I dont have this genuine sony cable anymore that came witht he ps3 but I want to connect my PS3 to my TV now via the red white and yellow rca cables, or could even do the component cables (red blue green). I need to go on amazon and buy the cable, but can anyone tell me if I can still get high def video out of the component or RCA cables? even if its 720? Or am I stuck with 480 without the HDMI option? At the end of the day I just want to be able to use my PS3 again with my TV. Any other issue with this method for anyone that has tried it before? Kind of an odd situation because I know pretty much everyone has HDMI capability, but the situation is weird since I have a full HD tv but essentially no HDMI inputs on the damn thing.
Thanks for the help in advance yall
