Are they letting you use the same one every year? Our student emails only got us discount/free one time. We cycled through all the ones we had are now stuck paying full price.

    Still worth it though.

Is anyone else watching The Man In the High Castle?

This has to be my favorite show right now. Over and over it makes me think about just how different our world would be if the Allies had lost WWII and the USA ceased to exist. The opening to the show is just perfect and haunting.

It's interesting how they get you rooting for certain Nazis and Japs, evil is really just a scale.

Allison and I started it, and it was great, but then she up and decided she wanted to read the book before finishing, so now I'm waiting for her to do that so we can keep going.

I absolutely love it. I'm only on the 4th episode of season 2, though.

Keeping seeing this show in the Amazon originals list, but always pass it over when looking for a new show to jump in to. Will have to check it out once I'm done watching The Sopranos.

Watched the first two episodes last night, the acting and dialogue are a little sub-par but overall a very interesting premise, I'll keep watching.

Does anybody else have a credit from the 2016 Ebooks antitrust settlement?
I checked yesterday & I should have $20.74 in credit (that I have to use by tomorrow).

However, I went to order an item and the credit was not deducted from my total (it is supposed to be good on any item sold by Amazon). I chatted with a rep from Amazon and she gave me a $20 courtesy credit ... But since the credits expire tomorrow, make sure you check and see if you have one!

    EDIT:

Hahahahaha. Wait. This article is making news b/c credits expire tomorrow.
I thought we recieved them June 21, 2017 and they expire June 24, 2017.
It was actually June 21, 2016. I'm sure it was spent by the end of June 2016. Whoops.

Very closely. Denver is in the running. Was just reading from several groups that do not want them to move here.

If they want to move here, I hope they pay us. No way I want my city selling out to get a total hassle to come here.

I know my city (Memphis) is making a big push to be part of the consideration. It's a pretty long shot but I know the city has put a decent amount of effort and money behind at least being in the running.
