(standing room was $42...siiiiiick)

EDIT check broadwayworld forums, too. can sometimes get lucky there
Do people just randomly post when they are selling tickets or is there a certain forum? Right now I'm just on the main Broadway one. I'll be checking daily, thanks.

check the standing room thread for the show. sometimes they'll just post a new thread in the main broadway forum. it's a luck of the draw, being in the right place at the right time. like spac tickets in the ticket forum

Still trying like hell. Friday is my target date but it's either $550 for last row off to the side of over $600 for third to last row a little less off to the side.

Has anyone ever used TickPick for tickets? They have some good seats available for tomorrow night's show and guarantees out the wazoo on your tickets. Would much rather hear a firsthand account though.

I've seen Tommy on stage once. The part of the Acid Queen was played by Tina Turner.

I know I posted a bunch about it on this page a few months back but never ended up giving my review. Here it is, very complex and in depth:

The best show I've ever seen with Ben Platt giving the best performance I've ever seen.

Yeah unfortunately Ben Platt isn't in this anymore. His replacement Noah Galvin was really great though.

Seeing it with Ben Platt obviously was fantastic but literally top to bottom the show is perfect so I'd assume the show is still amazing. Just told a co worker the same thing who was contemplating buying tickets for his wife's birthday.

Took my kid to her first Broadway show for her birthday... Spongebob! It was awesome. So much more than I expected it to be. They did a great job of making you feel like you were in a cartoon between effects and sound design and the acting. We listen to the soundtrack almost exclusively every morning on the way to school.

Next up: Waitress with Jason Mraz and Sara Bareilles on January 16th

    Awesome!

I have basically been obsessed with Broadway musicals since going to Phantom in the fall, I would say 25% of the music I've been listening to lately is all from musicals, I'm turning into an old fart at the age of 32. That being said, I never knew that the majority of musicals aren't very old at all.

I thought that production was becoming the second national tour. Didn't realize that it was still playing into June. Hope you enjoy!

Each production brings different flare to the characters. I like how Ham Chicago was done last April and I'm looking forward to seeing the London company in the spring.

I surprisingly have no other shows planned

I still need to see Come From Away. I heard On This Island (or whateve it is called) is pretty grand too

Watched Broadway Idiot again today, the making of the American Idiot musical. So fucking good, and American Idiot was even better. I'm upset it's been 7 years since it closed.

I actually was going to get tickets to Waitress for my wife's birthday then found out Sara Bareilles was gone so I went with Dear Evan Hansen which ended up being the absolute correct call. But then Jason Mraz (who she is literally in love with) ended up in Waitress and now Sara is back. Two of her favorites. Happy accident I guess!
