Show was excellent. I thought both the guy playing Nas and the character himself were very likeable. I was actively like, NO BRO, don't do that. Don't do that. I want this to work out for him, but I'm looking forward to whatever the outcome.

Great first episode.

Its a bummer he asked for a lawyer AFTER questioning, testing, etc. He did everything but verbally admit to the crime

I'm confused by the few chimes of him being unlikable. They went out of their way to show how inexperienced/dorky/relatable he is. I loved that.

Theres no blood on him, besides his hands. The way that crime scene was depicted, he'd have a lot more on him than just his hands.

He did at one point when the main detective wasn't around. The cops doing the processing told him to save it for when he was back with the guy doing the main interrogation.

Yeah.. he told the crime scene guys he wanted a lawyer after he saw Torturro come in and talk to another client.

Any chance that brownstone isn't even hers? If it is, maybe she doesn't live by herself. Seems like they made a point to show the deer head on the wall.

High probability I'd say. The way she acted in there, despite knowing where most of the things were (in the bar etc.) was like, we really shouldn't be here but I'm high and have nothing to lose.

I was still horribly hungover Sunday night and felt like I was gonna puke when they were taking the tequila shots. Really good scene though, very intimate. Too fucked up to even care a knife just went through her hand.

the do-rag guy definitely looked at him super weird though. that's what initially made me think that what everyone else was seeing wasn't what naz was seeing

True, but for the most part he seemed to want to help.

Lying about being alone - I thought - was more about not throwing his friend under the bus and forcing him to be brought in for questioning too.

I got about 12 minutes in and started to kind of phase in and out throughout the rest. Nothing really grabbed my attention.

It's anything BUT boring. I usually have a hard time keeping my attention on TV shows and movies, but this one had me glued!
