I mean hell, this is 2 weeks out and we have no idea who else is playing. Doesnt bode well for it being any big names. But heck, maybe it will just end up as a full blown dave solo show, that would be sweet.

So do we expect Dave to play one of those 6-7 song sets for this or are we expecting a full set like he would play if it were a D&T show. Probably not worth the trip for me if its only a few songs.

I guess since it sold out, there really isn't a rush to get names out there.

It also lists the group's string of Europe shows coming up next year.

They just saw tour dates on the band's site, and didn't note if it was a full band, D&T, or a Dave hosted $100 extravaganza..... because most bands don't have as many spinoff shows as this one does.

yea I'm aware it is D&T shows. You'd think Rolling Stone would learn to fact check after the past few years

Well since I can literally walk to the venue, I couldn't not go to this one. Bought a single ticket. See y'all there!

Any place close to the venue that would be good to hang out before the show? We're driving down from Baltimore.

Been trying to do a timeline in my head to possibly get an idea of how long Dave and Tim actually play.

    7:15 - 7:45 - Opener 1
    8:00 - 8:30 - Opener 2
    8:45 - 9:15 - Opener 3

    9:30 - 10:30 - Dave & Tim

That seem at all realistic? Can they give an artist much less than 20-30 minutes? Any ideas?

I was thinking a 90 minute set but can't find anything on DMB Almanac similar to this show.

Heading over with two buddies from Eastern Shore of MD, we are have single tickets, anywhere close by to get a drink before the show?

    7-7:30 - Opening remarks & Lakota Thunder
    7:40-8:10 - Ledisi
    8:20 - 9:00 - Neko Case
    9:15 - 11:00 - Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds

The Exchange Saloon on G Street is probably your best bet. Just a few blocks away. Used to go there for happy hour quite a bit. They'll have the games on too, and they have a jukebox you can play DMB through

I think this is what we'll have most likely. My buddy and I were talking about this and if I recall right, most Dave and Tim shows are roughly 1 hour and 45 mins. He was thinking 2-3 hours but he has yet to go to a D&T show. Greatly looking forward to it regardless.

Thanks I'll more than likely get there for the second half of the four O'clock games then walk over to the venue around 7:30.

I had to buy single tickets for me and buddies, what do you guys think the chances are of one of us sitting next to someone else who bought a single who will switch sections? We'd give them the better of the two seats but then again they are the same spot just oppositte sides.

I couldn't get any pairs to come up on ticketmaster, tried on two different computers so on one computer I just started grabbing up singles. The one I kept trying for doubles on never came up with any. Was on right at 10 too, very weird

I'm not sure... maybe post this on the WH board, ticket swap pages, DMB family, etc and see if you get a hit? What sections are you in?
