I still haven't properly listened to the last disc much. Gave it a few spins, but nothing stuck with me even though I was super hyped for that Shotgun, SUAD (since I was there), and Seek Up w/ Roi.

Think an announcement will be coming soon or will we be waiting until the middle of April again?

I'd guess April again. Hope it's worth the wait!

they should put Bismarck and Sam Cop on this year's disc, if they're not going to release a full 2016 show

Yeah, it was the first disc (2000 actually). Surprised it hasn't made a repeat appearance.

Holy crap...it was on the original disc and then never again!

If they are gonna put Two Step on a disc again and go with something more recent (And a Two Step that can be on there and not hog up time for a 10 tracker)...I really recommend the 6/20/2014 performance from the acoustic set. There is a really groovy improv jam leading into it (They were waiting on Boyd to get on stage) and of course...those acoustic Two Steps were awesome.

Actually Nick...check it out...like to hear what you think on that one.

Agreed on the acoustic Two Steps. Song was great in '14 and '15

Although it probably wouldn't make it because of track time, Two Step from Alpine last year would be awesome

It was shortened, they should have no issue fitting it on. They put a 21 minute Seek Up on the disc last year.

You can put that Alpine Two Step on there (Which I agree, was fantastic), then it affects other choices. You make up for the big one with shorter songs like Fool To Think, Shake Me, Stay or Leave or When the World Ends.

Long songs make the case for a download instead of a disc. Or maybe a combo of both? Rename it Warehouse 5+ (or 6+ or 7+)... send out a disc with songs and then a separate DL of a handful of songs for senior members.

If Two Step is on the disc it has to be the Hershey 6.27.08 version. If you haven't heard it you need to: it's Roi's last TS, Dave does an exceptional improv intro, it's June 08 so the band sounded fresh and reinvigorated, and Dave's voice was on point. On top of that, the solo section features Tim's best solo, a new horn part that I believe was only played that night, and the best buildup to a crescendo I've ever heard in TS.

If you don't believe me, here's a video of just Tim's solo - Dave goes nuts at 2:15 because he's so fired up at the end:

I don't know much about individual song performances, that's why I enjoy the WH discs because they expose me to versions I never would have known before. All I know is I'm looking forward to whatever this year's disc is!

There are just versions of songs out there that I'd personally love to have a top quality treatment of.. particularly when there is a great version of a song on a so-so or not so good show. I think there are a lot of great shows that get missed, and the powers that be want to find those in demand shows at "big" venues and cities because it translates to more sales.

I'd really like to see more compilations released. Something like a concert length release with the best stuff from a given year. DMB Live 2007 for example. Basically, an expanded version of the Warehouse disc, but perhaps a little more focused. Then they can pick out the best stuff.

I like the idea of an acoustic Two Step. I put Two Step from 6.10.14 Holmdel on a mixtape, since it was a mixtape of shows my wife and I have been to. Someone mentioned 6.20.14, I will check that one out.

Make sure you grab the improv jam that segues into it (they may be separate tracks). That's key

I would like an acoustic Two Step, but 7.12.14 would be ideal. It's the only acoustic Two Step with improv lyrics in the intro.

6.27.08 is still my top pick, but I would LOVE a '98 Two Step with a Tim & Bela duel. Is there anything about this version that separates it from the others on that tour?

Okay cool, thanks for the advice. I will download both, but more than likely I will just download the whole show for good measure.

Would be a great show if it weren't for the fact Shake Me closed the encore (That GGT was great in the E1). I left that night thinking, well, at least it was night 1 that Shake Me closed. Then, that night turned out to the be the better of the two nights.

I feel your pain. I've had Shake Me close on more than one occasion and having that show be the better of two nights as well. Just looked at that set and that is a great show, minus Seven, Belly Belly Not Nice and Shake Me.
