So, I wasn't overly impressed with the sonics on this one. Not terrible, but it sounds a bit muddy. I'm not sure if it stuck out to me more because I listened to it back to back with Bellman's remaster of Clapton's 'From the Cradle' (which sounds absolutely amazing.)
Performance-wise, I think it's great but I was hoping for a bit more sonically. Even though Jack White is all about analog I have to assume this was recorded digitally being a live album of course, but that shouldn't be a hindrance if it's mixed and mastered well (see: Live Trax series.) With just a 2-person band I'd like to hear a bit more clarity and separation.
Again, not awful by any means but, didn't blow me away. For a $15 purchase for a double LP still worth it IMO, if I had paid $30+ for it I'd be disappointed.
