At first I was bummed to learn that Seek Up will not being included on the bonus disk… sheerly based on the fact that it's my favorite song and it was a beast in the early 2000's...

Just downloaded the 6.24.01 tape to hear the version of Seek Up, and I must say I agree with the decision to leave it off the bonus disk. Seek Up is like pizza and sex… even when it's bad it's still pretty good… but this version doesn't hold a candle to the Warehouse 5 Volume 2 version and I am glad we are getting some other selections instead.

Also, it's a good reminder that shows aren't played on paper. The idea of Seek Up instead of some of the other tunes is nice and all, but the actual performance matters, and I think management got it right leaving Seek Up off in this instance. A few others mentioned that they wished it was included, so I thought I'd share my opinion since I was in the same boat before listening to the actual tape.

But there's no such thing as a good performance of Angel, so it's weird that was included. It's about as long as Seek Up anyway.

Haha, fair enough.

I wasn't really putting Seek Up head to head with Angel or anything. (Is it better than the very best version of Angel ever played? Probably. In fact, definitely... lol.) Just pointing out that this particular performance of Seek Up, while fairly solid, was not spectacular and I can see why they chose not to include it on the bonus disk.

I like Angel. I would be down for a version without the ladies that was close to the album length.

I'm sure in the minority here, but I actually dig the tune, as well. It took me several years before I enjoyed listening to the studio version, but time and space has made it quite likable for me. The Folsom Field live version, while long as heck, is actually a fun occasional listen.

Pretty excited for this one. If it's mixed anywhere near as good as WH5v2 then some of these songs will definitely be getting alot of play for me

I agree but that is a random comparison. Was there a connection between these two or are you just a big fan of the w5v2 disc mix?

I just pre-ordered. This is the first release of a show I attended. I went to the 6/23 and 6/24 show that year. This release has me reminising about that era. I started looking at the setlists from that tour. I'm starting to wonder if it is as bad as we all think we remember it. I would gladly take these sets over those 05-07 sets. In fact, I would take some of those sets now. But that could just be the fatigue from the recent staleness.

I love Billies with the keys instead of Tim. You can hear that riff so much better than Tims crunchy guitar. Excited for this release minus the LL

I attend this show and 6-24 and I listened to both shows and I have to say the band sounded very tight and both shows where great performances. Just a different sound and some songs didn't seem as long as they do today and it didn't sound like they rushed through any song
