Interesting timing that you posted this, I recently spent over an hour at JC Penney trying to sort out a "ship to store" order. First off, they never emailed me that the items shipped, so I had to call and they told me one of the items was there but the other wasn't.
So I went to pick it up, they couldn't find it at first, and then said "oh it was getting ready to be shipped back because no one came to pick it up" - this was after getting ZERO updates on it at all.
Then, it was a huge clusterfuck with the other item that apparently never made it to the store. The manager had no idea what to do, they had to call their corporate office, and eventually they refunded me and then had to place the order for the item again. So now I have to go BACK to JC Penney to get the second item, and I still haven't gotten any shipping updates on this one either.
Moral of the story is don't use ship to store haha.
