Marvel did a TV show first, DC is just copying them, Marvel > DC

In all seriousness though that looks well-done. I like that they got a few good, recognizable actors in key roles (Gordon and Bullock). Definitely will give this a watch.

I like that they seem to be doing it almost in reverse. Shows first then the movies. That is, of course, if this, The Flash & Arrow actually are set in the same universe as Man of Steel and Justice League. That's something they haven't really confirmed yet.

Yeah, don't know what the fuck is up with that inexplicable name change, but it's nothing that would ruin the show for me. Just gotta wonder why they decided to make that change. Like the article said, Pamela Isley is not an awful name.

Reports later surfaced that every episode of the first season will have a character in it who may, or may not, become the Joker.

"Every episode in the first season will introduce a character that might be a future Joker, each emphasizing aspects of the character’s iconography: a card sharp, a flower seller, a clown, or just a guy with a very big grin. All relatively unknown actors. All potentially a Joker.

However, Heller teased exactly that in the below featurette where he says “You do not want to miss an episode, because you may miss meeting The Joker for the first time.”

Not doing what Batman and Robin did with Freeze isn't "reinventing" him; Batman and Robin "reinvented" a character who'd been around for decades.

Scott Snyder recently wrote a phenomenal take on Freeze, if Gotham goes that route it'll be fantastic
