Also of note was Kobe Bryant setting the all-time mark for points in the All-Star Game, passing Michael Jordan. But with Durant notching 36 more to go with 49 total in the other two appearances. That’s just 186 shy of Kobe’s mark.

Said Dwyane Wade, “With KD in the league, I don’t know how long it’s going to last.”
    Sounds about right.

If this happens, it would redeem everything bad Otis has ever done.

And that's awesome, EJ is the coolest. A friend of mine met Kenny once too at the Atlanta airport and said he was cool as hell.

In my dreams, we make that trade and then fire Otis at the press conference to welcome Rondo.

Just tried it in the trade machine, it doesn't even work. Boston would have to dump roughly $7 million elsewhere.

I've always found the NBA All-Star Game to be pretty competitive. Yeah, they mess around early, but in the 4th quarter guys always start stepping it up.

It was like 90-72 at halftime. Where's the entertainment worth sticking around for?

What does anything I say about the NBA All Star game have to do with the Pro Bowl, which is even worse?

It was 88-69 at half and the final score was 152-149. How is that good competition? To try and argue anything else is silly. This wasn't a competition. This was adults messing around on the basketball court. Hell, it'd be more entertaining if they didn't keep score.

Pretty much anyone who watches the All-Star Game knows that the first three quarters are when guys dick around and showboat. It almost always gets competitive in the 4th quarter, as the final score indicates.

The ONLY time the NBA is competitive is towards the end of the season and the playoffs. Everything else is a joke, imo.

It's not a lot different in any pro sport though. This is not unique to the NBA. The NHL is another shining example.
