The bonus material hasn't been announced yet, but once the WH puts their link up it should be listed there.

Depends on who you ask I guess. It's gone in the $300 range a lot on ebay. Someone had one posted on discogs right after the recent drop for $250 I think, but it's not there anymore and says "never sold". Then there's this guy: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dave-Matthew...item2ed6c593ce

Personally I'm missing that one so I'd gladly pay face, maybe a bit over that, but not much more for it.

They only pressed 1,000 so it's pretty rare.

This is AMAZING news about UTTAD. I got to spin Oasis - What's The Story (Morning Glory) remaster yesterday. It was definitely better than the CD I had back in the 90's which isn't saying much. I would say it didn't completely blow me away, but is probably still worth having.

Try finding the Radio Supernova unofficial remastered version, it's very good. I've warmed up quite a lot to the 5.1 mix on the SACD as well recently.

However the best I've ever heard any track from What's The Story sound is the Japanese CD5 of Some Might Say, massively different mastering than the album version, DR11 vs. DR4. Also has fully dynamic versions of Talk Tonight (DR11 vs. DR9 Masterplan), Headshrinker (DR12 vs. DR5) and Acquiesce (DR12 vs DR4).

It's pretty interesting that they are located in Minneapolis. I bought some speakers from them in-store back in 2008 or so because they were the only ones in the area to carry them. Anyway, their store was on the University of Minnesota campus at the time and it was seriously like a hole in the wall place. Basically all of their business is online business and they seem to only have a storefront because they figured why not when they already needed a place to have employees located. The public part of the store was like 10' x 10'. Just enough space for a counter and some parts to hang on the wall and one demo turntable setup. The rest of the space was dedicated to their online staff and technicians.

I think they moved out of that space a few years ago though and I haven't been to the new place. Anyway, for how big they are in the turntable world, I was just shocked at how unimpressive their storefront was at the time. Probably better now though.

There is a conversation to be had re: Oasis and dynamic range.

To me, when the artists go in and put down great master tapes and then the mastering job is rushed/botched/slammed, that's a bad thing.

When the artist specifically wants the music to lack range and pump up the volume, that seems to me a different situation.

Oasis absolutely wanted their music to sound that way. It's not a matter of laziness or incompetence. Who are we to say it's bad given that that's the case? The songs are great regardless, if the artist wants them to sound that way, more power to them

F.Y.E. sells records now. Not a bad selection either! I picked up:
Explosions in the Sky - The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place, and
The Avett Brothers - I and Love and You.

Did a protection plan on them too just incase
