But, the actual ticket price - assuming all are the same - isn't the issue.
If next year's market price is $150, but you can't afford that, doesn't matter. They shouldn't keep prices down for "long time members." If all ticket prices were the same, your seniority would still be the same.
Instead, they said "these seats should be $75, but if you're willing to pay us $250 to be 1 row ahead (and get a fleece!) then you can have that row."
Edit: Are you against GA floor shows this much, too? Because that completely eliminates any seniority. period. I'm with you on the failed delivery of seniority mattering - but I was also like 10 rows from last in 2008 with my 1998 account, so I've always given the WH and seniority the side-eye. Clearly they do what they want to do.
