Re: Best Venue for the Tour?

Nashville is a perfect venue for D&T. Walking distance to all kinds of stuff and it's a nice cozy venue.

    Put the koolaid down!

Just because SPAC usually gets good shows, doesn't mean another venue won't get a better show. Nashville may be more likely for a guest appearance? SPAC is also going to be the tail end of 6 shows in 8 days... Hope Dave's voice holds up.

I'd bank on SPAC getting the best run setlist wise, but any one show from anywhere could be the best.

Regardless of where you go, you will be seeing Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds play some songs on guitar. This stuff about who gets better shows really gets annoying.

Merriweather is the best venue, and it's the last show of the tour which has potential, but if you want intimate, get inside seats at SPAC.

I am biased, but Nashville. I think the Nashville shows will be incredible. Great chance for a guest, considering all who live in Nashville. Plus the last show was 8 years ago, when I dumped my prom date in High School to go to the Vandy show. Best decision I ever made.

I wouldn't get my hopes up for any "bust-outs" this tour to be honest. I hope I'm wrong, but based off of song selection so far, I'm not getting too excited.

Northerly Island is a terrible venue.

Close between Mann in Philadelphia and of course SPAC. Two great venues for a D&T show. No contest over the rest.
