#40

Looks like Dave busted out #40 tonight. Twitter comments says it was 2+ minutes. It's one song I'd love to hear live and I'm insanely jealous of anyone there tonight.

Anyone got an early YouTube link? Can't wait to download this show!

Knew it was coming. I had an opportunity to head up, but the body wouldn't cooperate. I'm not exactly kicking myself, but I've been wishing for it for fifteen years.

Sigh. I know my friends there were given something amazing. I am happy for them.

Far from a ball washer here and I was quite excited to have it appear. I know it will only ever be a partial when played but it was great to see it. I think you really have to be in a bad place with this band to not be happy to have it appear.

I guess TMTT would have been better for you because it's a complete 3.5 minutes or even Butterfly which is about 2 minutes. I'm sorry but I would have a partial #40.

Any type of 40 with a verse and Chorus is special.

Just hope we don't seeing people beg for this on a warehouse disc or calling it the best version ever

It won't compare to Yoshis or even Spac 2008 but it was really special. He had promised it to us from night 1. Take a listen to the tape I think you will thoroughly enjoy it.

I think it's funny you like to tell people to shut the fuck up when someone tells you what to like or not, but then you turn around and say what people should like or not like. If someone likes this 40, why shouldn't they be able to express it on this site? Quit being such a passive aggressive dick.

It was a special #40 for my wife and I. Two choruses and the whole damn pavilion singing along made it that much more special. Lyrically it was almost identical to the 08 SPAC one. God please just leave it to the live setting only.

Agreed. Harry, you complained the whole weekend. I think it's the effect of being so close to Hershey.

It happened at the almighty SPAC, where even the LL are adored on stage and the band can do no wrong and songs that are at any other venue are thrown under the proverbial bus are now "The best version ever". Of course people will be calling for a release.

here is why this a very dumb post...

The Ladies were better at SPAC because they were used better. Mixing the Ladies early into the show makes them more tolerable and also less predictable of what songs you might get. The real problem with the Ladies is when they are featured on 4-5 straight songs to close the set because its predictable and the songs they are featured on normally are not the best songs to close the show with.

And having heard BOWA in late 2014 (w/out the Ladies) as well as earlier this summer, the version of BOWA with the Ladies at SPAC last night was the easily the best version i've heard live because of Jeff's solo. And if multiple people are saying the same thing, maybe its truth, not just SPAC bias.
